APPLICATION FOR UTILITY SERVICE

DEPOSITS AND FEES
A deposit for services may be required by the West Point Utility System in order to receive services. The deposit is meant to guarantee payment to West Point Utilities in the case that the customer moves without paying the final bill. Homeowners and/or landowners are not required to pay a deposit for services as any unpaid balance may be attached to the taxes that are due for the property in question. Any customer who applies for services, and does not own the residence, will be required to pay a deposit for electric and water services. No services will be provided until deposits have been paid in full. The amount of the required deposit is listed below.
